RADICAL HEALING FAQ
What services do you offer?
Do you provide therapy? Occasionally. Our provider is trained in trauma informed, solution focused therapy and will see clients who are in need while they seek a long term therapist. We may provide more frequent, therapeutic visits for clients who are in crisis. We also provide therapy/integration services for those utilizing ketamine therapy. We are happy to send information about your diagnosis and treatment to your therapist at your request. We can assist with recommending a therapist and therapy resources.
We do provide coaching services, which is not therapy, but a potential avenue for skills based, solution- focused, personalized support!
Do you have after hours care? No, we are a small practice with one provider and limited support staff. We are not able to provide after hours care.
Do you take my insurance? We are in network and able to bill the following insurances. Please keep in mind that your out of pocket expenses are based entirely on the type of insurance plan you have. High deductible plan clients are 100% responsible for all costs prior to their visits until their deductible is met. We will assist you with determining your out of pocket costs prior to you committing to a visit. We are able to bill insurance for the following visit types: follow ups, therapy, ketamine, and crisis visits. For out of pocket expenses, such as intake visits, we are able to supply you with a superbill and receipt for possible partial reimbursement by your insurance company. We cannot guarantee reimbursement as this is dependent on your out-of-network benefits.
*IMPORTANT!: We are unable to bill insurance for the following visit types: Intakes (including diagnostic evaluations), cannabis certifications, and paperwork/letter writing. This is due to the amount of time our providers spend with new clients and the thorough, personalized care provided by Radical Healing. Please keep in mind that a great deal of time is spent evaluating your case, reviewing testing, documenting, and consulting with others on your team. We don’t want to sacrifice our approach to match the amount insurance is willing to reimburse. The number of intake visits that are needed will depend on the type of service you are seeking and the amount of diagnostics and testing involved. If you need flexible payment options, please inquire about our monthly payment plans through AFTERPAY.

What are your rates?
How often do I need a follow up appointment? We will work collaboratively to decide what your treatment plan will look like. You may visit us for a diagnosis consultation or you may decide to visit the practice for ongoing medication management. Most pediatric patients will be seen monthly. All clients on a controlled medication are required to be seen at least every 3 months. All ketamine clients must be seen at least monthly. All suboxone clients must be seen at least monthly. You may be asked to have more frequent visits when begin a new medication and require less frequent visits once you are settled on a medication.
Are all of my visits via telehealth?
Yes! Even our psychological evaluations have been adapted for telehealth.
Can I get reimbursed by my insurance if you are not in network with my plan? If your plan offers out-of-network benefits you may be able to get partial reimbursement or count the costs towards your deductible. We can give you a superbill to send to your insurance, but we cannot guarantee the level of reimbursement you will receive.
Do you have payment plan options? Yes! We offer monthly payment plans through AfterPay. You’ll need to apply directly with AfterPay via our website. This will allow you to pay monthly, over a long period of time, for your initial out of pocket intake visits.
